This past Sunday I attended Collective Design Fair in NYC, featuring a plethora of legendary and up-and-coming talent across the interiors landscape. It was all about contemporary designers showcasing new-age innovation via art and interesting aesthetics.
To me, the supreme of the entire exhibit was the Bower NYC x Studio Proba showcase. It was retro and ultra feminine. It was designed with a cosmetic palette in mind featuring blush pinks, salmon and mauve highlighted with shades of mango, teal and rose-gold tinted metals. It was a dreamy and diverse escape from reality, especially due to the exhibit's statement piece - the 'Nirvana' meditation rug.
Exhibitors included Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery, Nicole Nadeau, Bower NYC x Studio Proba, Fort Standard plus many more. Collective is space for newness and outlandish creativity to take place through saturated colors, asymmetrical angles, quirky themes and sleek metals.
