The International Contemporary Furniture Fair is held once a year in May at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Each year, over 750 global exhibitors gather here to showcase the latest trends and design innovation in the home furnishings and interiors industry. Among the plethora of artists and designers, the categories displayed were lighting, contemporary furniture, carpet & flooring, textiles and much more!
It was overwhelming yet inspiring to see the major trends happening through interior design at ICFF. The strongest messages in my eyes were 60's Retro and Naturepreneur, which contained organic accents such as cotton plants, yarn-heavy textile decor, live terrarium furniture and anything inspired by being in touch with nature. Among my favorite designers were Flavor Paper, Coral & Tusk, Konekt Furniture, Eskayel, Brendan Ravenhill, Uhuru Design and Andrea Claire Studio! ICFF is a must-see trade show for design lovers and artists alike.
