Little Red Dress courtesy of Banana Republic
When i received this red dress from the team at Banana Republic, i had one vision in mind - Chinatown. It was my goal to curate this LRD with beautiful flutter sleeve detail at my favorite dim sum gem, Nom Wah Tea Parlor on Doyers Street. It started as a Chinese pastry shop in 1920, and quickly grew into the go-to dumpling hideaway! The interiors inside boast mid-century elements with a warm palette driven by nostalgic diner vibes.
Not only did this head-turning dress keep me feeling confident on my adventure, but it fit the theme perfectly as I skipped under Chinese symbols, explored outlandish curio shops and smelled fresh fish at the markets. My favorite sighting along the way was new street art by Baron Von Fancy stating "This Must Be The Place". With the diversity of each of it's neighborhoods, NYC is indeed the place to thrive.
