When the smoldering temperature is brewing on the streets of New York, there is one must-do on the weekends... brunch. Although the heat outside was unbearable, I knew I would naturally get chilled in a wonderfully air-conditioned restaurant. This brocade jacquard blazer sent to me from the team at Banana Republic went perfectly with my summer look of denim shorts and my vintage silk tank.
Brunch at Bar Virage was to-die-for-delicious. It was healthy, refreshing and colorful! Bar Virage is an East Village hideaway featuring Israeli and Mediterranean dishes. They have the perfect menu for not-so-refreshing summer days. A huge thank you to their team for hosting me for brunch.
We sipped cocktails and dined for an entire afternoon while feasting on the Freekah Bowl, Sabicha Bowl and Green Shakshuka bowl. Fun Fact: the Freekah Bowl and Sabicha Bowl are traditional Israeli dishes, but the Sabicha Bowl features pine nuts only at Bar Virage. Their Bloody Marys are super hearty, and the Lavender Bellinis are extra spritzy!
A special thank you to everyone featured in this post!
